SEED Messages To the River
Lihua Lei Farley’s SEED project features the contributions of 4 fourth grade classes at Thomaston Grammar School, Cushing Community School, Ames Elementary School, and Hope Elementary School. Students were given the opportunity to write a message to the St. Georges River that will be released along with native riparian plant seeds at a series of performances and guided recreational experiences along the 51-mile river. As you scroll below, you will find poetry, illustrations, and letters expressing our fourth graders’ gratitude, wonder, and love for the river.
